disappointed
normally when i went into pet world i was getting crickets for my gecko's. but i had to go in today to pet world to pick up some ghost shrimp for my lionfish. the person i dealt with was obviously not wanting to be there or was supposed to leave and showed it. he also made no attempt to try and remove the floating gunky plants that was in the tank or the rocks he scooped up with them so i had to go home and spend extra time to clean the shrimp i purchased before i could attempt to put them into the tank. the water was very merkey as was alot of there tanks with bad algae growth and diatoms. i will not be going back.

I also stopped by there last night. I asked where's all the live stock? Was told they cant figure out why they keep having fish die off. Pick up a few small turbo sails just cause they were cheap, other than that I will look else where.

Re: disappointed
it wasnt even the tank that upset me the most with my experiance since the ghost shrimp where going to be cleaned and eaten by my lionfish anyways. it was the way the guy acted and didnt care that he threw in a bunch of junk with my shrimp. i havnt dealt with the marine side of that store till now and now i wont go back there period. i only went there because living art ran out of ghost shrimp (its ok guys your still awesome!) so, next time...my piggie will get maybe a few rosies or something to tide him over till the ghost shrimp come available.

I think Todd does the best job he can there, but there's only so much he can do. I actually tried to buy brine shrimp there once and the person working there gave me a bag full of dead garbage. The whole brine shrimp tank had crashed and they didn't even notice (I'm not sure how, it stunk terribly). Anyway, I've gone back for brine shrimp since then and it's been fine.
