90g Reef Build

Postby pjsonnentag on Tue Feb 14, 2012 9:01 am

Thought I'd chronicle my 90g reef build here for all to see and comment on. It's built to be a room divider between an office and a rec room in our basement . When finished, it will span floor to ceiling with stand and canopy included. I plan on keeping a mixed bag of corals- softies, LPS moved from my 36 bowfront and eventually clams and SPS. I'll run a 15g sump, protein skimmer (still need) and 714W MH/T5 lighting. I welcome any suggestions or comments. Thanks!

Anyone have good plans for a sump/ refugium based on a 20g tank?

Updated pics- stand and canopy finished! found a stain to match the basement walls perfectly and got all the trim in place. The light fixture is also in place (2x250MH, 4 x T5 actinic and LED moon lights). Next step- finish the sump/fuge and plumb.
