Medusa worm help!!

Postby Thaddius1974 on Thu Mar 01, 2012 12:11 am

After doing a little research, I decided to purchase a large medusa worm from a friend. He's beautifully ugly, and has an emperor shrimp living on his back. He kept the animal for the better part of a month, before his wife chased that "ugly" critter out of the house. But now, after doing more reading, it sounds like they may be fairly dangerous. I've read a couple articles about them poisoning tanks by just getting stressed out. I'm hoping a MARS member may have some history or additional info about this species. Could really use some feedback here people. Good or bad. Thanks!!!

From what I have read they aren't worth the risk.. It would really suck to lose all your fish over a worm.
