Brittle starfish

I've read that brittle stars are a good thing aslong as they stay small. But are too many a bad thing? My live rock is loaded with them. These pics were taken with the lights off

Yea that's nuts... how big tank and how old is it? Gotta be a nice established tank I would think... I've got brittles, but not seen them in those numbers! If it was me, I wouldn't worry about them...it can only help clean up leftover food and so on. They don't harm anything in my experiences...

Its a 90 gallon. Its been established for 5 months lol. I bought live rock from 2 seperate guys getting out and both of theirs were 5+ years. I knew they were in the rock when I bought it but they seem to be multipling fast!
