A Unhealthy anemone vs very healthy nem recovered

Postby Conrad25 on Mon Jul 23, 2012 9:05 pm

I wanted to show everyone that doesn't know what bleached out anemone's look like or maybe is interested and wants to know what the signs of a good one would be as I see so many people take on something that can be fatal from the beginning. Now I took this Magneficia or otherwise known as a Ritteri on the WRS bus trip. He was badly beat and was a goner in the chicago fish store I found him at. Well he has made a full recovery and is getting more stunning every day. Now this nem took food feeding every day, proper lighting and just the right stable tank to get him back :D

Bleach anemone:
Short tentacles
Bleached
Bad mouth signs with opening or stretched out
Won't stay on a rock or hold itself up properly

Badly bleached, almost completly gone and looks stressed with short tentacles and being clear/see through

3 month turnaround? thats really good, its always nice to know youre doing well enough that somwthing that far gone will come right back and by the looks of it is thriving.
