ID Help!! Strange Creatures in Reef

Postby gsrsk8er on Mon Feb 25, 2013 3:50 pm

I was looking in my tank today before the lights came on and noticed these bizarre creatures. I have never seen them before in my tank. The current setup has been running with no additions for about 6 months, the original tank has been setup for over 5 years. I'm assuming these were from some live rock I purchased about 6 months ago. There were two of the same species on two rocks as can be seen in the pictures. One of them can be seen moving in the video. It almost looks like some sort of a mini cucumber or a snail with no shell. Let me know what you think!!

Looks like Stomatella varia a common hitchhiker. They eat algae great and always bred like crazy in my tank before I moved and they got wiped out. Wish I had some in my tank now.
