the bristle worms are an old Reef Central pest myth. Along with dozens of other harmless to mostly harmless critters. If someone tells you something is a pest and it is not a glass anemone, relax they are likely wrong.

I would say if your fish finish the food in only a couple of minutes and if your system is keeping up, Nitrates and Ammonia are not high and your pH is fine, you are not feeding too much. It is more important that your feeding be a consistent amount of a varied diet. Your tank will reach an equilibrium with that. I would judge your result on how the tank does after you have been on a particular feeding routine for five or six weeks, and longer not on anyone’s rules of thumb. Oh and if you are new, and even if you are not, take anyone advice with a grain of salt, except mine, print mine, frame them and place them prominately on a wall near your tank. Oh and print a copy for your local fish store to do us all a favor. :P

Just don't believe everything you read on there... so many wrong things.

I agree with bradhass87. Reefcentral can be a useful resource if you are able to sort through the noise; this is exactly the problem that the OP is having, though -- sorting through the noise -- and so RC might do more harm than good.

Buy and read up to date, well-regarded books for the best info. You seem to have a bunch of invert questions; a great book is Fenner and Calfo's: http://dev.bluezooaquatics.com/productd ... 984&cid=99
