Feeding Fish While on Vacation

Postby Falcon57 on Tue Jun 25, 2013 5:33 pm

I was wondering what I can do make sure my fish don't starve to death while I am gone on a three day weekend trip? Is there a tablet I can place in the tank and forget about it while I am away?

It is highly unlikely that any fish will starve in three days. I don't worry about feeding when on 10-day vacations, and the fish and corals all look fine when I return (tangs, multiple dragonettes, sun corals, flame scallops among the more food-needy). But if you insist, the Eheim is a pretty good unit for flake or pellets.
