Mysterious coral problem

Hi my birdsnests have bleached my montipora is diying my hammer is turning a lighter color my other hamer is shrinking into a skeliton
In adition to those corals I have several mushrooms,Kenya trees,and a devils hand that are doing awesome

What could be hapening

What's your magnesium levels at? Also what kind of lighting are you using?

Maybe some type of metal is leaching into the water.

I was told I should be fine but I am looking for a tester eny suggestions whare to get one
I have a marine land led reef capable light

Over how big of a tank? I've heard those marine land lights to be sub par and that only softies should be kept under even the reef capable ones. What did you use for lighting before? I'd finger the light as the culprit here ( I'm all for LEDs ).

Well... Your temp is 84 and salinity is 1.020?

How are you measuring salinity? Got to get that temp down a couple degree somehow. And sg should be more like 1.025.

I use a instant ocean hydrometer
Eny ideas on how to lower the temp that don't involve $200

Put a small clip on fan blowing across the water. You will evaporate more but it will be cooler. Also hydrometer suck you need a refractometer.
