fricken fracken powerheads

The darned things won't stay put. I scraped the algae but every day I end up with a sand storm. Any suggestions?

I am seriously considering silicone or something. Doesn't anyone else have that problem?

yea my heaters wont stick to the glass, they keep fallin to the sand or on the rocks.

if you do end up gluein it or somethin you can always scrape it off the glass but it may not come off the cup

Denise- I had one that kept losing the suction. I ended up using a suction cup with a hook on the outside (the kind you use for decorations) and hook the cord around that. Didn't slip the rest of the time I used it.

i've had that problem before, i noticed that if u clean the glass where it goes then put it on, it will stay. As film gets on inside glass i am sure u know, so just use magnet to clean it good, and try that.

I would be sure to clean the suction cups along with the glass. I've found that there's often a thin film on the suction cup that seems not to help.

That said, I think it's only Maxijets whose suction cups have really worked that well for me.
