:lol: I actually looked at the pvc primer and glue bottles, almost opened them, then chickened out. Is the primer supposed to dry before applying the glue? BOK BOK BOK!!!!!

The purple primer just softens the PVC for a better bond. After putting on the primer on both parts that are going to bond together, give it 30 seconds and then put the glue on. Put the pieces together while twisting them and hold them together for a few seconds until the glue starts to set. If you just push it in and don't hold it, they'll slide apart abit.

Good ventilation in the area your working too is very important. That primer and glue is nasty stuff and you don't want to be getting whacked out on it.

You should just host the april meeting. It can be a hands on how to plumb meeting with one of our "experts" doing all the work and teaching us at the same time. :wink:

BOK BOK BOK... :lol: I ordered a new skimmer today. Now I gotta wait for it to come to do plumbing. I rearranged the whole aquascape. Hmmm, what else can I do to stall...... April is coming fast :oops:
