Additives: needed or not

Hi all, I did a water change a couple of days ago then tested everything last night. Ammonia-0, trites-0, trates-0, ph-8.2, phosphates-0, Alk-3.54, KH-9.9 and calcium-350. Do I need to add anything? The question was with calcium but i wouldn't want to raise the alk and KH. What would you do? I have never added anything and am not sure how to go about it.

Um, just out of curiosity, are you testing for Alk and KH separately? They are the same thing; 1dKH = 0.36 meq/l.

Yes, I would raise both the calcium and the Alk. Is there a reason why you don't want to raise Alk? I have the materials to do so as per this article:

http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/ ... 4/chem.htm

Though I haven't had to for a long time, as my water changes have been keeping up with my coral's essentially non-existent needs.

Everything is good, but your calcium is a little low. Just get some liquid calcium to raise that up and your all good.
