Ok...what do I do now???

Postby mfd78 on Sat Mar 19, 2005 8:13 am

Well, I converted my wet/dry into a sort of refugium - I replaced the bio-balls with LR and Chaeto. The problem is, I left the a big block of foam in there to keep bubbles out of the tank (there is only one wall between the LR and the return pump and it has a gap at the bottom). I'm guessing the foam has gone "biological" and I have fish now so I'm a little worried about removing it. Any suggestions??

Also, should I add a wall or two in the filter to work as a bubble trap and allow me to add some sand in there?

Thanks again for all the advice!

Steve- I have a foam block also to remove microbubbles. Not a problem of which I am aware.

Sounds like it's coming together nicely...need more pictures!
