Fragging xenia ?s

Postby spbreeder on Mon May 02, 2005 10:08 pm

I received some xenia from Warren a few months back and it has been spreading. I would like to share some with others but am unsure how to do it right. I am thinking I would just try to pick stalks off the rock as close to the rock as I can and then attach them to a new rock somehow. Is that right? Is there a secret trick or a better way to do it to minimize damage to the animal?

I place a small rock against it in the direction that it is spreading and when it grows onto it, I cut it off with a razor blade. Easy as pie.

Ah, thanks Matt. I'll give it a try.
