Been a while...here's a couple new shots, I had a wicked bad green hair breakout but it seem to have succeeded.

Temps can get pretty hot, I've seen as high as 85-86 degrees. (it was hot in the house before we cranked the a/c)
MH light is on 6 hours a day and I see 5 degree temp swings. I guess I've been lucky, nothing has been sacrificed due to heat.

Hey everyone it's been a while since I've updated the thread. The tank survived a short term power failure not long ago and overall it has gotten less attention that it deserves but anyway here are the current pics.

Last weekend I installed the new Ushio 150w 20k bulb and here are the pics

Ok so when you get a brand new bulb you can't just throw it in and light it up or your corals will freak out and possibly die. The intensity of these bulbs are insane at first so you need to put the corals thru a light acclimation process. (slowing add more light over time as the bulb burns-in)

I am using some replacement window screen material as a filter for the light above the tank.
Image
For the first week of light acclimation I am using two layers of the window screen
Image
As you can see the new bulb has a very intense blue color at first.

I'll take more pics as I add more light and the corals adjust, right now they are kinda pissed.

Well folks the time has come and I must sell this sweet lil nano, everything is working/living and all good I just travel too much for work to keep up on the water changes.

Asking for $550 for the entire setup, including the tank, pumps, liverock, large variety of corals and Sunpod MH light fixture. Also has variety of snails, a Clown fish and a yellow clown goby.

PM me if you are interested or call Jon @ (608)774-4447
