baby food jars

Postby Carinya on Fri Apr 29, 2005 6:33 am

If anyone would have a use for glass baby food jars, please let me know & I can set some (lots, actually) aside for you & hand them off at a meeting.

Personally, I use a couple for thawing my frozen food in the fridge.

No hurry.

Lids also ?

If you have lids for them also I would be interested in a large box (something that will still fit in my pickup  ) of them. I use them to sort nuts and bolts in my shop.
Just bring them to any meeeting and I will pick them up.

Cool. They do have lids. I'll hang on to some for you then. I'm not sure I'll be at this upcoming meeting but that'll just give me more opportunity to collect a greater number. I've been recycling all of them & now I'll start setting them aside.

Todd if you need baby food jars with lids I throw out 5 a day. The 11 month old is hungry. If you want some I could also save some for you.

You could donate them to your local elementary school, ymca or church for the youth programs. They make great paint holders and there are many other uses for them. My son's KG teacher asked me at the beginning of the year to save ours. It is nice to know they are being recycled.
