I have a used lifereef overflow - works great, but the condition is not the best. I bought it used and the guy who shipped it to me packed it very poorly, causing part of it to crack. This part is near the top of the bracket which holds the bracket to hold the back onto the tank (in other words, water never hits this area). I fixed the crack with Weld-On and feel that it is stronger than it ever was, and used it like this for over a year. I also have an extra U-tube.

Let me know if interested, I just need to clean it up. I can also include the stockman silencer that I used with this.

Specs: This is the black single slimline unit

How much would you want for it?

Thanks

The ratings can be found on the lifereef website I previously posted above. I would think that $30 would be a fair amount given its condition, but that it does come with some bonuses (extra u-tube, stockman standpipe).

I still need to clean it up and such, however.

Weld On

Postby ReefZoo on Fri Jun 24, 2005 11:53 am

Hey Bob!

I have a similar problem - a Lifereef overflow that broke off at the top bracket (probably another shipping casuality, as I bought it off ebay and it broke when I was attaching the hose at the bottom). I looked at a few local places for some Weld On but couldn't find it. If you still have some, any chance you could bring it to the BBQ and help me fix the overflow?

I can bring both Welcon #4 and #16 to the BBQ. For reference, Midland Plastics is where I got mine.

Bob,

I think i am going to go with a new 1200 per gallon overflow. I was looking for more GPH than 700. However, i really appreciate the post.

thanks
