WTB protein skimmer for 75 gallon tank

Postby therazorsedge on Wed Aug 24, 2005 9:02 pm

I am looking to buy a a protein skimmer for my 75 gallon tank. I currently use a Sea Clone which is horrible. I do not have a sump so it would have to be a hang on or an external skimmer.

Thanks

I have a My Reef Creations mr1 skimmer that's only 3 months old. You have to tinker with it but it's a high quality skimmer. There's an external pump you could use with hosing. The price new w/o shipping is 335.00. I'm asking 275.00 since it's practically new. I live in Madison. Nancy

Any reason why you are selling it?

Nancy, hope you don't mind me jumping in to answer the questions.

This skimmer was running on her other tank. She tore down the tank that had a MR-2 on it and put the MR-2 where the MR-1 was.

The pump is a Gen-X PCX 30 (pressure rated pump).

This is a great skimmer at a good deal. I run 2 of the MRC skimmers and love them.

Here is a link about the skimmer and a pic too.
