It is funny, I was having issues with cyano for so long... I was rinsing food, not feeding too much, tests for phosphates were undetectable, skimmer worked great etc. Within one week of these lights there was no cyano. When I was cleaning my skimmer a week ago I broke the ceramic pin thing and have been skimmerless since while waiting for the replacement to come and still no cyano. LOVE THEM!!!

Sorry Marty, you're not getting them back. 8) Both of the actinics have passed on, so they have to be replaced, I tried to get one out and pulled pretty hard but couldn't get it out, I'll try again tomorrow.

My 6 year old dropped and broke my digital camera and I still have 3 or 4 rolls of film from before the baby was born (uhhh, 15 mos ago) to be developed so I am not sure when I'll get some posted. May be easier to host a meeting.

I really would pay for some nice corals. Anyone?

No SPS, but I do have that leather that I promised you. I have been flatworm free since the last treatment.

That has got to be a good feeling to be rid of them at last. You haven't decided to take down the tank totally have you?

I'll take it whenever you are ready.

I have a number of SPS frags I can part with and a number I would be willing to frag. Many of mine are still too small to frag, but I have a dozen or so to pick from which are ready.

Let me know if interested...

Hrmm, if you are looking for specific species names, I really don't know that I can give that. I have about 40 SPS, mostly acropora with a few motipora. Of the stuff that I have that are fraggable include:

- mint-green acropora
- red millepora
- purple polyp/brown montipora digita (this grows insanely fast, like a weed. I have branches laying all over my tank from this)
- purple tip acro
- light brown w/blue tips acro
- green slimer acro - this also grows VERY fast
- green table acro
- neon green tip bottlebrush acro
- blue millepora
- tri-color acro
- ORA blue tort

Let me know if interested in anything. Most of these listed above have local origins from other members in the group and are all very hardy. I have frags of most of the above already fragged and mounted/encrusted on some plugs.

Yes, I would be interested in quite a few. I have some of the digitata as well so I wouldn't need more of that. I would be interested in pretty much anything else I can afford. LMK what you want for them and I can shop that way :D .

I would be interested in some frags also, after Denise has picked out what she wants of course.

Denise,
I wrote a little more about each of the corals - let me know if you have any troubles or questions with them.

1. blue mille (acropora millepora) - medium light - very fuzzy
2. green slimer - medium light, very slimey
3. blue tort (ORA, acropora tortuosa) - high light
4. purple tip acro (acropora sp.) - medium light
5. tri-color acro (acropora sp.) - medium/high light
6. mint green acro (acropora sp.) - medium light
7. green table acro (acropora sp.) - medium light
8. red mille (acropora millepora) - medium light, encrusts yellow at base
9. neon green bottlebrush (Acropora aculeus) - medium/high light
10. brown w/blue tips (acropora sp.) - gets bright blue tips in high light, brown in medium light

Thank you so much, I just got home and got them all in. Some polyps are already open. One had a baby brittle star hitchhiker, bonus. I really appreciate the frags and your tank is beautiful. I am excited to see them progress and grow. Thanks again and the kids were impressed as well.

Do leathers and SPS's engage in chemical warfare? I have plenty of space.
