3x175 watt halides

Postby causeofhim on Mon Oct 24, 2005 12:28 pm

I have a DIY retro 3x175 watt halide set-up. It has 3 ballasts with 3 mogul sockets. I took a pic with three old bulbs in to show that it does work but, bulbs are not included. I bought this off someone else with big plans but, never used it. This is a 110 volt system.
$75.

Nothing ever happened. I tried to work out a deal with him on a pump I had and he wanted but now he wont return my messages.

Yeah it's ugly.
I could take the ballasts out, re wire them, and put them into some real purdy case or cases and sell them for much more. But, I dont want to mess around. If someone else wants to do that and turn around and sell them, great!

I'm not sure of the type of 175 watt ballasts these are. I put in three different brands of bulbs and it fires up all three: Hamilton True 10k, Aqualine 10k, and Coralife 6.5k.
