Personal Update

Postby spbreeder on Wed Jul 26, 2006 3:23 pm

I have had a few PM's questioning my whereabouts as of late. Things at home aren't going very well and to make a long story short, divorce is looking like a probability. My concern is for my kids and keeping things as normal as possible for them. Financially, I don't think I am going to be able to afford upkeep on a tank right now so I will be selling everything. I am going to put quite a bit in the library tank and will post here for the rest.

I will continue to lurk here and maybe crash a meeting or two (just for the free food and drink   ) and as soon as I am able I would like to get a smaller tank going. You are a wonderful group of people and it has been a pleasure getting to know you and relying on your wealth of knowledge.

Well that sucks.

I do think you are doing the correct thing to shield the kids as much as you can. Also try to explain that they are still loved by both of you, and it's not thier fault. My step kids still have problems with this.

So sorry to hear about the divorce.
Perhaps you can get a nano going sometime down the road.
By the way - how did the leather turn out? Still big and happy? And no, I do not want it back. My tank is overgrown with Xenia, Kenya Tree and green striped mushrooms.

So sorry to hear Denise,
Let us know if there is anything we can do. Must be so tough to come to that decision.

Yeah, sorry Denise. Please don't be a stranger - you are the best reef swap door guard that we have (sorry Todd).

Please let Mark know if you need anything :) and take care of yourself and brood!

Todd - that is so obvious I can't even come up with a witty comeback for that! :)

Denise- sorry to hear things aren't going well. Join the ranks of the lurkers with me! Let me know if you need a day out at the farm- vodka's in the freezer!

Maybe we'll have to start a "Lurker's Auxilary"... :)
