Anything about the $1000 mark for recievers sound good, as long as it isn't boses, or sony.

I can agree with that. I HATE Bose with a passion like non other.
Fiffty pirate frigates versus one ninja in a row boat....seems unfair for the pirates, doesn't it?

word!!! i dont know how many people ask me why i didnt go with bose... i just shake my head and say "you wouldnt understand"...

Yamaha is my brand of choice for recievers... so with that being said i kinda have to disagree with the $1000 opinion..
