Figured I'd try this again this year as we have many more members. So, is anyone going to gun hunt this year? Where you going? What you using?

I dont hunt.....but back in 95 i hit a deer with my car. It was a buck, a pretty big one. 14 point with a 24 inch inside speard. Everyone that has seen the picture (which i will scan and add later) has said it is one of the biggest they have seen in they area. I hit it between McFarland and Stoughton right off of Hwy 51 of a side road. Tim

I am all ready to go. One of my friend's parents have about 40 acres north of Neenah. See deer every year walk pretty much right under my stand. Mostly doe, but supposedly his mom said there is a nice sized buck running around their land this year! Hopefully I will have a nice picture to post!

Good luck!

I'm heading up to Antigo for opening weekend and then over to Mauston if I don't get anything in Antigo.

La Farge is near Viroqua and Richland Center... a little northwest of madison.

using a 12 gauge (World Law says i cant own a rifle) but u can use rifle.

i only have like 40 yard shooting lanes so rifle is pointless.

Very odd year for my hunting group. We all saw dear, but most of them were running or in too much thick stuff. I took a 4 point buck and that was the only deer as of Sunday noon. Going back up for second weekend to see if I can fill my doe tag.
