Long shot foster home needed (no, not for my kids steve)

Postby spbreeder on Fri Dec 01, 2006 10:35 am

I know this is asking a lot but.... I have to ask. I have listed my home and we have 3 pet rats. I was advised to find a temporary home for them while I am showing the house as many people have issues with them. I really need to sell the house asap and I don't want to have the rats be the reason someone is turned off. We love the girls and don't want to see them go so if someone could temporarily take them in it would be appreciated. Maybe it could be a test for a family. They are wonderful pets who love attention, they don't ever bite and love to play and cuddle. Thanks for the consideration.

I would except I suspect my cats would think they looked awfully similar to mice...

I have two cats who are hunters and they are super curious of the rats, they will sit and watch for hours but will not touch their cage. Maybe they did once and the rattie girls let them know who are the queens of that domain(I can imagine how those teeth could chomp), I am not sure but even when they are out of the cage the cats leave them alone.

Thanks for thinking about it though, like I said I know it is a long shot. :)

Oh Tre, that would be awesome. Ivan would love them. Thank you so much!! I would supply the food and bedding for as long as you have them of course. Hopefully we will get an offer quickly.
