Cat sitting for thanksgiving weekend!

Postby madreef on Tue Nov 20, 2007 1:41 pm

I was wondering if any of you cat lovers here will be staying in town (Madison and vicinity!) during thanksgiving weekend. I have to go to Indianapolis for three days (leave on Thusday and back on Saturday night) and need somebody to look after my year and half old cat!

Please let me know if you are available!

Thanks

For this one, you may want to post where you are located since you don't have it in your profile.

How much sitting does your cat need? Are you looking to drop him off while you are gone or just have someone stop by for visits?

Upinder

i would be happy to do it for you but unfortunately im having my parents over for thanksgiving and my dad is violently allergic to cats. I think you said that you live in my neighborhood when i last talked to you so if you want me to stop by your house once a day to feed it or something i wouldnt mind. But if you need me to take it in for a few days i sorry your going to have to find someone else.

Let me know

When we leave, we have 3 Cats. I just put out a extra bowl of food and a extra bowl of water or put a bowl In the bathroom sink, and turn on a very small stream of water.

See cats really don't need people, :D They just make us think so

Thanks to all of you who replied. I might keep all you guys as my trump card! :D for future. I found a coworker who's son would like to see if he likes cats and may be get one in future! So the cat is going to stay with them for 3 days.

Tom: I think I am going to have one more cat. If I am gone for a weekend, may be they will keep each other company and not get lonely. And yeh! you are right, cats don't need people :) only when they need food or want to play with a human toy! :)

Paul: Thanks for the offer.

James: I don't know man! that cat has some sharp claws! and she is fast with them (trust me I know from first hand experience!) :)

Anyway, I sincerely appreciate people in this community stepping forward to help.

regards
