I been kicked off RC

RC has a lot of problems. Arrogant moderators are only one of them. I have butted heads with a few arrogant moderators. I have had a few of them brag about how they could ban me as way of trying to get the upper hand in a disagreement. Just gave me something else to point out. A typical post on RC is someone asking for help achieving some end followed by a bunch of posts by novice reefers who tell them why they cant do what ever it is they want to do usually accompanied by some pretentious statement about how a responsible reef keeper would not do this or that or keep this animal without having this equipment. The problem is they are usually wrong. Instead of helping a new reefer they discourage them with a bunch of crap. You are more likely to get legitimate help or original thought in this forum.

One thing I have noticed recently is how many non-newb reefers on RC are forgetting the basics of reefkeeping. There have been some big losses in regards to livestock just because they are taking it too fast. Just because you have all the right equipment and have been around a while doesn't mean you can forget the basics. At this moment I'm following 3 threads that are disasters waiting to happen and one that already has. I guess that can go back to the arrogance Mark was talking about. It may stand out more to me after my major loss at the beginning of the year, and I learned a lot from that.

i only go on to check the buy sell trade posts and sometimes for info links or vendor links, if i post i just don't read the rebuke is negative! this site seems much more friendly

Seems they banned me for "no reason." I just simply don't get it.
