Do we have any deer hunters in the group? Where are you headed for the hunt?

I should be heading up to Mauston for openeing weekend, possibly closing weekend as well if opening weekend doesn't prove productive. My buddy has 250 acres of some sweet land. Not a year has gone by where I haven't seen lots of deer. Unfortunately, haven't seen to many bucks but hoping i'll see a nice big one this year. :smt070

Why go deer hunting when you can have this happen?

I think i'll stick with sitting in a tree in sub-freezing tempratures in the hopes that a deer will calmly walk by.

Any luck yet? Haven't heard how my husband and daughter did today- I'm hoping for 3 or 4 for the freezer!
