So it seems the lounge has had a recent trend of folks asking the Madison Area reefing community for help. I apologize if this is an inappropriate use of the MARS hobby website, if this post is seen as inappropriate, please let me know and I'll remove it.
I graduated with my M.S. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from UW-OSH in May of 2009. I've been beating the trail here in Madison for employment since December 2008. I've reached my limit of what I can do with jobcenterofwisconsin.com/careerbuilder.com/monster.com/hotjobs.com for now.
Does anybody know any local organizations (within 30min of Madison city) that would favor a Saltwater Enthusiast over the other thousands of unemployed? My skills are most aligned with Human Resources and Marketing positions. I have extensive knowledge of survey development, program evaluation, and statistical analysis. But I'm also looking for bartending jobs, or customer service/sales.
I am also available for contractual work for smaller organizations that may not need to hire a full time analyst.

Check out Amfam on a weekly basis - the job positions that are open are always changing:

Rueg, thank you for responding. Amfam, Cuna Mutual, Promega, Third Wave Tech (Hologic), Spectrum Brands, Alliant Energy, Tel/Data, CPM, Nimblegen/Roche, Kraft, Covance, Anchor Bank, UWHealth.org, Customer Potential Marketing (CPM), and Cardinal Health are all organizational websites I visit 2 times a week(ish).
And of course, what ever I find on the job boards.

I know this story all to well. I'm a mechanic and when I was unemployed I checked multiple sites everyday. It takes time...lots of time, but sometimes the only option is to relocate. I was just about to relocate when I got a job. Just keep trudging along something will come.

Tony, I am woefully inexperienced for the Sr. Tech Writer job- I didn't see anything else on the career page. Thanks for the lead though, I'll add Clontech to my weekly routine.
