Watching HD DVDs

I am trying to find a HD DVD player to watch the side of my copy of Star Trek the first season that has the HD format. If I can't find a HD player, what else can I watch it on? Any suggestions?

not sure if they make them anymore since bluray kinda took over for hd dvd. A computer might play it for you as well.

from what i have heard to play an HD dvd you need an HD player, HD was only around for a few years but once bluray came out it kind of took over and HD went out. now HD players are nothing but large paper weights. so im told. if you want to buy one i would try to google it or check ebay

I think I will just give up since I don't have a HD collection. I just have those disks from the first season of Star Trek. I will just be satified to upscale the standard DVDs I have and let it go at that. Also, I have a LG LCD HDTV and I tried to connect my HDMI cable to it from my upscaling DVD player. I keep getting a distorted picture. I believe I have the latest cable for HDMI connection. Not sure what is wrong.

HD-DVD players are around, but they have become quite pricey since they aren't being produced anymore. I have one that I would be willing to sell:

Wouldn't an xbox 360 play em in hd? I can play my games in 1080 i dont see why it wouldnt do a movie. You can rent em from family video.

It will if you have the external HD DVD drive.
