Paul,

With the christmas tree worm rocks you listed, what sort of colors are the feather dusters, I'm really trying to get some funky blues in the tank, just curious...thanks bro!

Any big reasons for staying away from those?

BHB,
I saw pics of your tank. WoW, It's looking sharp!

The worm rocks have just started to open.
They have a nice assortment of colors, but I
have not seen the x-mas worms fully exposed.
You may want to call the shop and ask if they've opened
in a few more days.
Christmas tree worm rocks (bisma worms) are usually associated with a Porites
coral. Porites is a small polyp stony coral requiring fairly intense light and med-strong
water circulation. The worms are filter feeders requiring supplemental plankton diets.
This symbiotic rock does not have the best aquarium record, but considering todays efficient filters, skimmers, lights (not energy efficient), and the abundance of various planktonic foods available (Dt's, ESV phyto, coral frenzy, etc). I think that they stand a strong chance.
Thanks for your interest/business!
Paul
