MORE THAN 300 FRAGS FOR UNDER $15 EACH!!!!

Postby LIVINGART on Thu Jan 28, 2010 12:13 am

Steve and I stayed late and fragged up all sorts of goodies.
As the title says, we have over 300 frags for $15.
We also have some insanely bright zoanthids frags and other oddballs for $25 and multicolor chalice frags for $55.
You really can't beat these deals and if you buy 3 or more of any of our frags you receive an additional 15% off!!!

Hurry in while the pickings are good...
Thanks for checking in.

Brad,
Interesting how you slander local fish stores to benefit your personal basement business.
No, I don't have any blurry pics of corals that have not opened/healed (like the ones in your post), and yes we are selling frags for cheaper than you are and we have far more overhead than your jacked-up 29 biocube. Please keep Living Art Aquarium out of your future blathering.

There is a big difference between a business and a hobby.

Ouch... LOL. Nice poke Paul. I'll give you that one.
...To be quite honest, I was actually hoping for some pics, as I am still a consumer. I dont have all the time in the world to drive across town to check things out, as Im sure you know, I am quite busy building homes around the Madison area...

Just trying to see what you have over there that I would be interested in.. No need to be a dick.

Yea that sounded kinda dick-ish just for asking a simple question lol. I'd like to know what you have too and maybe see some pics, but sounds like that's quite unreasonable

Brad,
You are one of those guys that will come into my shop, start talking to my customers, and then tell them that you will sell them an item for $5 less than our store.
You are not the sort of person that I want shopping at my store.
This is what I call an "aquatic soap opera" and I don't want to be a part of it.
I am not intentionally going to your customers saying that I can build their house for cheaper than you because that would be a dickheaded thing to do (and I don't build houses). Think about it, who's being the dick?

Anyways, we love taking pics. It is difficult to find enough time in the day to take/post them and frags tend to sell faster than we can post pics. I will still try to post pics from time to time.

Sorry for the banter everyone!

You have by far the best saltwater shop in the Madison area.. I do not take anything away from it.
I also know you have not made a good assessment of my person. I would never undermine what you have accomplished, nor would I ever "steal" your customers in your shop.
I have bought plenty of items from your store before, and have been incredibly happy with them.

I lose jobs all over town all the time, and theres usually not a grudge held. Its just the way it is. Competition is better for the consumer, in any field. If I got every job I bid, I would have to turn them away because I would be 5 years out... lol

I hope we can come to some understanding between us, as this is pretty unhealthy, as I think we are both acting childish.

Sounds good Brad.
I'm a pretty laid back fish store owner and prefer not to be confrontational.
Earn your clientele in a respectable way and I'll have nothing else to say. LFS's are one of the best resources that aquarium hobbyist have the fortune of utilizing.

Landon,
No new SPS, but will keep you posted when we get new ones.

Ashley,
Sorry if you had a bad experience!

Brad,
We don't have any Euphyllia in our $15 section. We do have unbelievable locally grown colonies for $45 that have really bright green and they're hardy.

Thanks!
