September Meeting

Postby friogatto on Mon Aug 30, 2004 2:22 pm

My name is Brian and I would like to host the September Meeting on the 8th at 6pm.
If your interested in attending please reply here or PM me.
For those wanting to trade frags, I have some Zoos and Colt Corals.
I'm currently shifting my tank to SPS and LPS so I'm not looking for any softies at this time but someone else might be.
If you have something to trade post it here so others know whats available.
I'll get directions and such emailed out to everyone so sign up on the mailing list!

Can we do a later time? I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets off work at 5, needs to eat, and might live across town.

I'd hate to be forced to skip just by basic logistics ... but that's my situation [and I'd assume similar for many other folks with kids/etc].

Or... put better ... is it alright if we come an hour and half late?

-re-edited to not sound like I'm having such a bad day at work :(-

I have no problem starting at a later time.
If moving the meeting to 7 or 7:30 allows more people the opportunity to attend I'm all for it.

Nothing is set in stone except the date.
More feed back on a specific time would be helpful.

I would agree that 7-7:30 would be a bit better, though I have no preference on a specific time.

I will modify the homepage to reflect the dynamic time.

Actually ... maybe the 6pm time [to get people there who can] would be good ... with a `If you need to be late, feel free to come an hour or so late.'

IMO, why not try to get everyone at 6 who can, as that's what works for the host. Just make sure people don't exclude themselves if they're late.

Excited to see the tank :)

Like Mark said.
I will be home anytime after 5pm. Anyones welcome after that time
For those who can't make it at 6, I'm sure most will still be around after 7.
So lets post some of those frags you have sitting around in the corner of your tank.
I have several large mounted Colt Coral frags,
My green goniopora seems to be happy and is still dropping babies. I saw 2 new ones the other day that are waiting to drop and I still have 5 from the last time. They all seem to be doing great.
I'm going to get the email out to everyone on Monday, I'm trying to make sure everyone gets on the list before I send it out.
