October 31st MARS Meeting 6pm. (Mt. Horeb)

Postby MattK on Thu Sep 30, 2004 11:51 am

Hi everyone, my name is Matt, and I'm a reef addict!

It started last October when my fiance (Katie) said, "I want a fish tank". I've been toying with the idea of setting up a reef tank for a while so it was all the push I needed to start. A few months later and many dollars later, we were the proud owners of a six foot reef tank. That was when she told me, a 20 gallon fresh water was all she wanted. However, by then it was too late and I was hooked.
We joined up with Mars late last Winter/earily Spring and we're very happy to be able to finaly be able to share our tank with everyone else!

Tank background:

Hardware:
125 gallon AGA reef ready (72"x18"x22")

Unfortinatily we will be unable to attend. It is father son get away from trick or treaters weekend up north... We needed more reasons to get up north. And this is when the muskies should be getting hot.

Trick or Treating should be over by nightfall, at least it should be here in Mt. Horeb.

Here's what I've found for time/events in the area:
10am-4pm
Halloween at the Zoo
Henry Vilas Zoo

4pm-6pm
Mall-Wide Trick or Treat
East Towne Mall and West Towne Mall
Madison, WI

From West Towne, it's a 30 minute drive if you take Verona road, or County S (Mineral point road). From my house, I can get to the beltline and Mineral point in 20 minutes, or the Home Depot on Verona Road in 25.

Matt,

I am hoping I can make it out there on Sunday, it all depends what time I get back from a wedding in Kenosha though.

Hope to see you!
