I had to call them 4 times this week to have my modem reset. Then the last time they said it was getting no signal.....DUH thats what I told them when Ifirst called. So they asked what we should do.....ummmm get me a new a new modem!!! Oh yeah, great Idea and to think I dont work in there customer service or IT department....LOL
So to get it fixed that day I had to go get the modem myself and put it in. Go Figure!

In a meeting at work we were asked to give an example of a company that we liked and one that we didn't. About 13 of the 20 or so people present gave Charter as their example of a company they didn't like.
Which made me think of this thread, then back to aquariums (always).
Interesting though, obviously they have serious problems. They are the only company that I've ever physically evicted from my house. I put my box on the front porch and told them to come and get it.
It's been 2 years and I still can't stop ripping on them! I think they owe me some therapy.

Re: Badger Lock and Security
If do some googling on charter, prolly a million pages on complaints nationwide with this company.
They closed down 6 call centers recently, and rumors have it Paul Allen(owner) will need to sell the company to someone else if it's to stay alive. Might be a heads up to move to directv.
I personally find it disgraceful that charter only has what 20 HDTV channels while directv is pushing 70 and 100 by end of the year. I bought a HDTV plasma for a reason, charter can't even give a date for when more HD channels or how many are to be expected...

I am still really mad about the BIG TEN network. They say not all people want to spend the extra 1.30 or what ever it is.I don't speek spanish so why should I have to pay for those channels. I also don't like to watch 15 shop at home channels. I did try to learn spanish by watching the hot chicks on the spanish channel, but it didn't work out that well.lol

Looks like we're getting closer to allowing other companies to move in on charter's area!

Would be so nice to have more options.

*crosses fingers for time warner cable to come in*
I have never had a problem with them in milwaukee, and most people seem to like their service.
