Just an idea tossing it out there, member blogs/threads. Own area for users to post about their tank, newly setup, modifications, and such.. ya know?

could I please get some help. I'm a new member and would like to know how to post something new not just respond to someone's post (for example if I wanted to post something for sale or ask a question). Also this may sound silly but what is a thread? Any help is appreciated.
thanks

When viewing the forum there is a button in the upper left that says new topic. Clicking this will allow you to create a new post.

Also, a thread is the same thing as a topic - it is just the series of posts related to the same subject. For example this list of postings is a thread.

Could we please get some information on the frag swap for 2009. The other day I stumbled on some information on when and where it's being held. But now I can't remember how I found it. I believe a date was set for either January 24 or February 7 at a firehouse. I noticed that there's at least one other person looking for the same info.
Thanks

The date and place have been set but I believe there are more details to be figured out.
It is set for Saturday Feb 7 at the Middleton Fire Station.
Here is a link to the planning discussion thread
