Thanks for the insight Rob. I'll keep that in mind.

I'm almost done with my sump. Have to finish baffles and setting it on the base. Then a router trim up. Not gonna get fancy with anything.

Wow. This is heaven for the DIY'er. I'm planning on using their 4' rail with slide recievers for the Icecap pendant. Should be clean and neat. They sent me a price sheet yesterday and its all real reasonable. Opens up a ton of options.

Got outta Dodge for a bit. Spent a day at Seaworld. It was refreshing to see my kids so completely enthralled with sea life.

Love the last picture Sea World is such a great time. That tube inside the tank is pretty cool. If your going to use a Vortech pump I would go with 2 MP10WES instead of 1 MP40WES you will be able to sync them to stir things up a little better. I used a MP40 on my 58gal. and loved it but it left some dead spots the way my rock work was. Nano-Reefs.com has used MP10WES for sale all the time if your looking for one.

Finally getting somewhere. Gonna build an overflow on Sunday. Rock has been curing for quite some time, i added a bunch of live rock that I had in a little tank, hopefully it should be well seeded at this point. Gettin excited!

Looking Good!! +1 on 2 Ecotech Vortech MP10wES you can sync them up togther, its what I use on my 58gal Oceanic tank. Which is the same length and width as 40 breeder. If you don't think its the best way to go, just ask the guys a Ecotech. There the ones who recommended 2 MP10's on my 58gal.
KEEP ON REEFIN ON!!

I'm likin the Vortech. I picked up a 10W ES. Very fun. Good reccomendations guys. I've moved a bit of livestock over from the nano I had been storing things in. Really liking this system. :)
