New to MARS
Hello everybody, my name is Jay and I live in Madison. I just came across MARS while I was surfing the web. It’s nice to see there is a well established Reef club in the Madison area. I’m new to the hobby after years of fresh water only. I got into salt water fish about 2 years ago. Now I’m taking the next step in this addictive and as I’m finding out costly hobby and going to a reef set up. I’m running a 75 gal tank with a G1X protein skimmer, T5 lighting 2 10k and 2 blues. I just bought my 1st frags a few days ago and for the life of me I can’t remember what they are called. I hope to make the next meeting and get some tips from you pros.

Welcome Jay, don't be affaid to ask questions and learn from our mistakes (I have made to many to count). As for the for the additive part we will be starting up a 12 step program. The cost is 2 frags per visit.
Sounds like a nice system enjoy it and welcome to the club.

Thanks for the welcome all, I’m definitely looking forward to getting some new frags that I don’t have to mortgage the house for.

Thanks Denise, glad to be back.
We're settling into FL and loving it. I am finally setting up a tank again. I'm doing a 135 mixed reef in the 3rd bedroom/my office.
