Re: THE 10th ANNUAL MARS FRAG SWAP 2014
Hello! First time post for me. My two (just two at the time) sons and I had the pleasure of attending the Northern Wisconsin Reef Society Frag Swap in the early Spring 2012. Kids and I had a blast: lots of raffles, door prizes, free stuff. It was held in Rhinelander, WI - home of Drs. Foster's and Smith Aquarium/Fish supplies. Each attendee received a cool T-shirt and a $20 gift certificate from Drs. F&S. I see that the Company is, again, a donator/sponsor but it seems that they are having just one ??? $25 gift certificate as a raffle item. Is that the case? Thought they'd open their vault w/ the gift certificates. I realize the close local proximity with the NWRS event but their company has a website, online services so it shouldn't matter where the event is held.
What do you think? Hit 'em up for more? Thanks. Looking forward to your event in January 2014.

Per email I received Dr Foster's and Smith, they recently suspended there program donating to any future coral frag swaps because of vendor issues...etc

Boy o boy wait until you all see what the BIG prize raffle will consist of. Everyone should be proud of the supporters we have for our club and the generous donations to our annual frag swap.

Starboard gave me a sneak peak the other day when I went out there, and all I can say is wow! This club has some very generous vendors coming to the swap who donated the kind of gear I have always dreamed of having!

Will there be a designated space for people who want to meet up and swap coral? I have a few small frags of basic stuff to trade/give away

I cannot say for sure if there will be any room for an empty table for free goods. We have had an abundance of people wanting table space and want to make sure it isn't totally crammed so to answer your question at this moment I will have to say no. By all means please use these forums to post your stuff and meet people at the swap to buy, sell, trade your goods as it is intended for.
