coral I.D help please.

coral I.D help please.
A friend of mine brought this by for me today. The lfs that sold it to her said it was a cats paw but I don't think it is. any help would be appreciated so I know where to put it in the tank and what type of care it needs . Thanks.

That would be a psammocora coral, not even close to a Cat's Paw...lol If you don't mind me asking do you know where did she pick that up at?

She got it at The tropical fish place. It's a new store in Milwaukee, WI they have a website. Thetropicalfishplace.com I guess he only does saltwater so i'm gonna swing by there later this week and check it out. And Thanks for the I.D

Also there was a couple of loose pieces at the bottom of the bag. If I put them on frag plugs will they grow or should i just toss them.

Put them on plugs or LR pieces.
